Administration Staff

Alexis G., Office Administrator

Alexis is excited to be returning for her sixth year at Elmwood to work in the office this summer. During the school year, Alexis teaches at Ardsley Middle School. When not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family. Alexis likes being outdoors with her kids. This summer, Alexis is looking forward to watching relationships grow among campers and between campers and counselors. There is nothing like camp, and Alexis feels fortunate to be able to observe its beauty as an adult. It’s amazing how much happiness and love is developed over eight weeks at Elmwood!

Emily C., Office Administrator

This is Emily’s eighteenth summer at Elmwood! Prior to working in the office, she was a GK counselor and Kindergarten Division Specialist. During the school year, Emily works as a teacher. She loves to spend time with her family and friends. In the summer, she loves to go zip lining and spend time at the beach. Emily enjoys watching football and rooting for the Giants. She is looking forward to another great summer in the office and can’t wait to eat all of Elmwood’s delicious food.

Erin M., Office Manager

Erin is the voice on the other end of the phone when you call camp. She started at Elmwood as a G1 counselor, which she did for 5 summers. After graduating from the College of Saint Rose she became part of Elmwood’s year round team. Elmwood really is about family for Erin. Her younger sister, brother and three cousins have all worked at Elmwood and her Aunt Bobbi is our Director Emeritus. She works closely with Gregg to manage transportation and ensure that all of our campers have a safe and fun ride to and from camp. Her favorite part of the day is greeting the campers each morning as they come off the buses.

Camp Operations

Thomas R., Operations Director

Thomas is excited to return to camp for his ninth summer! During the year, Thomas works as the Operations Manager at Elmwood, and is also the Theatre Technical Director for Irvington High School and Middle School. He is excited to be working with old friends and to make new ones. Thomas has a collection of eighty pairs of cufflinks and is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

James P., Maintenance Specialist

James is excited for his first summer here at Elmwood! James grew up in Irvington and just finished his junior year. He considers himself a hard worker and likes to work constantly. He tends to make any task as enjoyable as possible, as he loves to see the best in all situations. James loves kids and enjoys working as a part of the maintenance team to ensure they have everything they need to have a successful summer at Elmwood!

Dylan H., Maintenance Specialist

Dylan just finished his Junior year at Irvington High School where he has grown up his entire life. During his summers, he has usually spent most of his time traveling or doing community service in NYC. He has helped bring in clothes/food for the midnight run where he goes to local NYC shelters to give necessities to the homeless. He has also worked/volunteered at Bellevue Hospital, however, his recent work doing stage crew for the IHS school plays has helped develop his passion for working as a part of our Maintenance team. Dylan has attended Irvington Day camp has a child and is excited to get back into camp! Dylan can often be described as ambitious, desired, and a natural leader.

Gavin R., Maintenance Specialist

Gavin just recently finished his Junior year at Ardsley High School and will be a senior in the fall. He attended Slam Dunk Basketball Camp for four years. During his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with his friends. One fun fact about Gavin is he enjoys watching stand-up comedy shows. He is excited to be back for his second year at Elmwood and can’t wait to meet many of the staff and campers.

Reggie G., Maintenance Specialist

Reginald is currently entering his senior year at Irvington High School. Outside of school hours, Reggie often invests his time in the school’s Tech Crew. He does things such as building the sets for school plays, organizing mic packs, and sweeping around the theater. Most of his friends know him for all the magic tricks he performs, most notably card tricks. Wherever he is, there is always a deck of cards nearby. In addition, he is the senior editor of his school’s yearbook and in charge of overlooking the design of the school’s latest yearbook while working with other members to ensure a clean, finished product is made. He hopes to have another enjoyable year at Elmwood.

Sam F., Maintenance Specialist

Sam is excited to be back at Elmwood for his fourth summer. During the school year, Sam works in the Scarsdale Middle School cafeteria assisting in food preparation and serving food to students. Sam enjoys caring for his dog, cooking for his parents and watching sports. Go Mets! Sam also really enjoys watching the Today Show and taking the Metro North into Grand Central.

Shaquille S., Maintenance Specialist

Shaq is an enthusiastic and outgoing person who respects the people around him. He is considerate of others and enjoys helping others. Shaq is very determined and takes his work very seriously and ensures any task that is given to him is done to the best of his ability. He is also a leader in his school and is very trustworthy.
