At Elmwood, our programming grows along with our campers. EWD Voyagers is the next step—an exciting travel program designed to nurture friendships, encourage new experiences, and promote independence, all within the supportive and caring environment that defines Elmwood.
- July 5–August 13, 2027
- Two-week minimum enrollment
- A summer filled with day trips and overnight adventures
- Campers begin and end each day at the Leffell School
- Westchester families will have access to centralized busing to Leffell
- NYC campers will travel together on an EWD bus
Day Trips + Overnight Adventures
The schedule will include a mix of exciting day trips and multi-day experiences. Most weeks will feature day trips on Mondays and Fridays and overnights Tuesday–Thursday.
- Most overnight trips: 1–2 nights
- One extended trip: up to 3 nights
- Campers and staff will stay together in hotels during overnight trips
