The Parent and Camp Partnership

We believe that our partnership with parents is the cornerstone of each child’s individual experience at camp. It starts with an individual family appointment with Hillari or Gregg where parents learn about Elmwood and we have the opportunity to learn about your children. From there our relationship only grows.

Throughout the year we encourage parents to keep us informed about their child’s growth and development. You’ll hear from us via the phone, email and formal questionnaires so that we can continue to grow our partnership with you.

Each summer, your child’s Division Head will call you before camp begins to talk about setting goals and any concerns you may have. Your Division Head will be your personal connection to camp. They will call you several times to keep you updated about your child’s progress and paint a picture of your child’s experience here at camp.
